Ms. Bush said “we know what our own freedom looks like”. I know what my freedom looks like, as well, and while it appears similar to that laid out in the Constitution, I do not have it. I lost out on a couple of good careers fifty years ago because I was the wrong color. Affirmative Action gave those jobs to less qualified people. My freedom should allow me free speech, but if I use a Norwegian-origin word meaning ‘stingy’ or ‘miserly’, someone will brand me as racist. If I ask questions about any minority group that they don’t want to hear, I’m branded as racist, or sexist, or some other -ist violation. I want Constitutional freedoms back, not these altered freedoms that favor specific groups.

The motto at my High School was, “Knowledge Is Power”.Sadly most in inner city public schools test severa grades below their age. Who’s fault is that? This pile of work was smoking a cigarette in an area that was designated = NO SMOKING. This white hat know nothing seen this black man doing just that. He starts threatening me about his quota. He watched this guy smoking with both hands in his pockets and never said a word. He threatened to fire me while never saying a word to this black man.
I had had enough and flat out told him to go fork himself. We ended up in court with him and the black man losing their jobs. I threatened to sue the company over this and was reinstated. The company knew who I was and never missed a day or punched in late. I don`t start trouble but I daqmn sure will finish it.
