The International Olympic Committee has cleared a transgender athlete to compete in the upcoming Tokyo games.
The IOC ruled Saturday that Laurel Hubbard, 43, who is a biological man, can compete for New Zealand in the women’s weightlifting super-heavyweight category and that [his] inclusion does not violate the current rules on the books.
[He] is on track to be the first transgender athlete to ever compete in the games.
“The rules for qualification have been established by the International Weightlifting Federation before the qualifications started,” IOC boss Thomas Bach said during a new conference Reuters reported. “These rules apply, and you cannot change rules during ongoing competitions.”
That is the end of THESE Olympics.

Well this lifter pretty much guaranteed gold. I remember when Russian female athletes were accused of taking drugs to enhance their performance and of being more male. That was not allowed and yet this is. How times change and new ways to cheat occur.
Well, they let professionals play in the Olympics. Once they did that, then I guess the WHOLE qualifications guidelines were tossed. Jim Thorpe must be turning over in his grave.

So when this biologically Male-wanna-be-female athlete beats a real biological female athlete in the weightlifting competition I guess the real female athlete is supposed to accept it or does she have any recourse to protest such an unfair advantage that the he/she/it has in biological strength? The IOC has opened a whole new can of worms with their woke decision and will pay the price in lost interest in the games, lost viewership in large numbers, and overall respect.
