Joe Biden on Thursday spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky amid a threat of a Russian invasion.
Joe Biden warned Zelensky to ‘prepare for impact’ according to CNN.
“Kyiv could be “sacked,” Russian forces may attempt to occupy it, “prepare for impact”, Biden said, according to this official.” CNN reporter Alexander Marquardt said.
The White House released a readout of the call.

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said another incursion by Russia could be imminent.
“We’ve said for some time that another incursion by Russia could be imminent, and imminent means imminent … and I’m going to avoid the temptation to guess as to what the timing would be,” Kirby said on Thursday during a press briefing.

Impact and Invasion are 2 very different things.
I pray that some countries will come to Ukraine aid and fight with them for their right to not be controlled by Russia can you imagine the suffering and death that will follow once they invade women and children will suffer the most. I am a retired veteran and look at all the years I served in Europe defending against this kind of oppression what has changed since then nothing we still need to defend against Russian aggression. We now have to put up with an old man who would rather be on vacation than do his job we will pay a huge price when we have to deploy to defend Nato once Russia decides to take over another country that split from them that is now part of Nato. I say look at Afghanistan and how our president and military leadership failed us and it is about to happen again to our citizens in Ukraine all that is happening is predictable to due our country leadership.
We should give Ukraine everything they need to repel Putin and his thug troops. Guns, tanks missiles, weapons of all kinds and intelligence to throw Putin back to Russia should be given to the Ukrainians.

If Biden says that Kiev could be “sacked” then he demonstrates a lack of basic understanding of the situation and of the nature of Ukraine. Kiev is in the central region far away from the area in question known as the Donbass which is the Southeastern region. Even in the off-chance that Russia went in, they would limit themselves to that area which is predominantly Russian speaking and ethnic Russian where they could expect a measure support from the population. Any other region would be disastrous for them and they’re not so dumb as to fail to realize that.
