When U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski, R-Ind., died this week in a car crash in her home state, along with two aides and another driver, the Washington Post couldn’t resist slamming her in its obituary.
Prompting social media commenters to wonder openly, “What is wrong with y’all?”
How WaPo ended its story detailing the car crash death of a Member of Congress:
“Walorski voted against certifying President Biden’s victories in both Arizona and Pennsylvania after the Jan. 6 attacks on the U.S. Capitol that left more than 100 law enforcement officers injured.”

Ellen Carmichael cited the publication’s ending in his report of the fatal car crash:
“Walorski voted against certifying President Biden’s victories in both Arizona and Pennsylvania after the Jan. 6 attacks on the U.S. Capitol that left more than 100 law enforcement officers injured.”
SHE DIED *TODAY.* WHAT IS WRONG WITH Y’ALL?
This is a mental illness.

A commentary at Twitchy pointed out the condolences that came from many sources when word of the accident appeared.
Even the White House announced that flags will fly at “half-mast” in honor.
But Los Angeles County Democratic Party staff member Krishan Patel sounded off, before locking his account so his comments couldn’t be reposted, only quoted from screen shots.
He said, “I hope the Walorski family finds peace and an end to their suffering. Simply because Jackie Walorski voted to overturn the election and end American democracy, meaning she was a fascist, does not mean it is acceptable to celebrate her death…”
Patel added, “I am expressing sympathy and hoping for peace for the grieving family of a tragically deceased individual who used political power to attempt to overthrow American democracy. There is no ‘gotcha’ here, only sympathy and factual information about this individual’s actions in life.”
Fox News noted: “Walorski and her staffers Emma Thomson and Zachary Potts were tragically killed in a car crash on Wednesday. The Washington Post’s report noted the congresswoman’s religious conservatism and anti-abortion stances, including her opposition to the Women’s Health Protection Act and the Ensuring Access to Abortion Act.”
The Post also accused: “A Donald Trump supporter, Walorski voted against impeaching the president in 2021 for his role in the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, which resulted in the deaths of one police officer and four others and injured more than 100 law enforcement officers. She also voted against confirming Democrat Joe Biden’s victories in Arizona and Pennsylvania in the 2020 presidential election.”
Her office released the following: “Dean Swihart, Jackie’s husband, was just informed by the Elkhart County Sheriff’s office that Jackie was killed in a car accident this afternoon. She has returned home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
“Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers. In addition to the devastating loss of Congresswoman Walorski, it is with a broken heart that I announce the passing of two dedicated members of her staff, Zach Potts and Emma Thomson. They were the epitome of public servants who cared deeply about the work they performed on behalf of the constituents of Indiana’s Second Congressional District.”
