Tucker Carlson highlighted a story Wednesday concerning a New Jersey mother being told she is being “monitored” by local law enforcement at the behest of military personnel who didn’t like her social media posts questioning the sexualization of children in school.
Angela Reading alerted other parents of children in the North Hanover Township Elementary School District that children from grade 4 up are being encouraged to research topics of sexuality and create LGBTQ+ posters.
The US military is now woke, and they're going after average Americans. This story is absolutely disturbing. pic.twitter.com/pV1ZzkRXqj

Carlson explained New Jersey mom Angela Reading discovered the local school’s anti-parent agenda, its promotion of “pansexuality,” and wrote on Facebook about it.
“What happened next didn’t use to happen in this country … Out of the blue, an Army officer at Joint Base MDL called Angela Reading an extremist on Facebook,” Carlson explained.
“That officer is called Lt. Col. Christopher Shilling.”
And Shilling said, “The Joint Base leadership … have had the security forces working with multiple state and local law enforcement agencies to monitor the situation.”
That situation apparently would be the one that he created by name-calling a local mom on Facebook?
“What? So the military responded to a mom in an elementary school complaining about the sexualization of her own child?” Carlson said. “That warranted a military response under Joe Biden?”
Shortly later, Hanover Police Chief Robert Duff pressured Redding to remove her social media post.
“Let that sink in. The police and the military got involved because a mom wrote something on Facebook they didn’t like? … This is mind-boggling,” Carlson said.
According to a report at Summit.News, Carlson pointed out that while the military base boasted of exchanging information about the “situation” as is routine for law enforcement, the military is “not a ‘law enforcement agency.'”
“The purpose of the military is to defend us from foreign enemies, not to police our Facebook posts,” he said.
