Joe Biden on Wednesday welcomed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the White House.
Zelensky was given a red-carpet welcome.
literally.
Zelensky couldn’t even be bothered to wear a suit for his White House visit.
He knows Joe Biden will give him billions more anyway.
Biden announced $1.85 billion in additional security assistance for Ukraine.
This is in addition to the $45 billion in aid to Ukraine written into the latest Omnibus spending bill making its way through Congress.
Biden held a joint press conference with Volodymyr Zelensky in the East Room.
“We’ve never seen a major invasion of a European country since World War II,” Biden said of the war in Ukraine.
Apparently, Joe Biden forgot Russia invaded Ukraine and annexed the Crimean Peninsula in 2014 while Biden was Vice President.
