Joe Biden announced to send another $1 billion in new military aid to Ukraine while many Americans struggle with record-high gas and groceries prices, baby formula and food shortages, 401Ks crashing due to market collapse, highest inflation, and highest interest rates since 1994.
Joe Biden announced on Wednesday after a phone call with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that he will send additional aid for security and humanitarian assistance.
“I informed President Zelenskyy that the United States is providing another $1 billion in security assistance for Ukraine, including additional artillery and coastal defense weapons, as well as ammunition for the artillery and advanced rocket systems that the Ukrainians need to support their defensive operations in the Donbas,” Biden said in a statement.
“Today, I am also announcing an additional $225 million in humanitarian assistance to help people inside Ukraine, including by supplying safe drinking water, critical medical supplies and health care, food, shelter, and cash for families to purchase essential items,” Biden added.
Secretary Antony Blinken announced on his Twitter account that he would spend the $350 million for additional U.S. arms, equipment & supplies for Ukraine as part of the $1 billion assistance.
As authorized by @POTUS, I am directing the drawdown of $350 million in additional U.S. arms, equipment & supplies for Ukraine—part of $1 billion in U.S. support announced today to reinforce Ukraine’s defenses against Russia’s senseless war of choice. We stand #UnitedwithUkraine.

“Speaking in Brussels, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said the U.S. and Ukraine were working in lockstep to meet Ukraine’s requests for new capabilities, especially its need for long-range fires, armor and coastal defense,” CNN reported.
“This package also includes $650 million in Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative funds and that will help Ukraine defends itself with two additional Harpoon coastal defense systems and thousands of secure radios, night vision devices, thermal sites, and other optics,” Austin announced.

“The Biden administration has previously provided Ukraine with over $5.3 billion in military assistance, of which $4.6 billion has come since February 24, according to Kahl. The $1 billion announced Wednesday is on top of these numbers,” R.T. reported.
Biden’s announcement comes after his rant about reckless spending on Tuesday. Joe Biden began screaming out of nowhere and scolded critics for claiming his reckless spending caused inflation rates to spike.
“I don’t wanna hear any more of these lies about reckless spending!” Biden shouted.

Joe Biden spoke at the AFL-CIO labor union convention in Philadelphia where he defended his abysmal economic track record and lashed out at Wall Street.
Biden repeated the same boring lies in his speech to 2,000 union members and state officials:
“We’ve made extraordinary progress and put America in a position to tackle the worldwide problem that is worse everywhere but here, inflation!” Biden said.
