I think Telford says it all, enforcement officers are “babysitting” rather than stopping the flow of narcotics. This is the EXACT reason Biden Administration is allowing the flood of illegals. Neither Mexico nor China has any real love for us. All they want is our money. China claims to have a powerful government that can keep its people in line, but they cannot even stop the illegal manufacturing and exporting of drugs, so it’s pretty obvious that this is a low priority for them. Mexico has been known for decades for accepting bribes to look the other way, and there is no evidence that this changed when the cartels got into the avocado business.
