We’re just going to file this in *things that never happened*
Joe Biden traveled to Hollandale, Florida to talk about Social Security, Medicare and lowering prescription drug prices.
Biden claimed he personally spoke to the man who invented insulin.

The main scientists credited for discovering insulin died in 1935 and 1941 before Joe Biden was even born.
According to the GOP’s rapid response team, 4 men are credited with discovering insulin.
Those co-discoverers died in 1935, 1941, 1965 and 1978.
This is bizarre for several reasons:
Insulin was discovered by more than one person (two or three or four depending on how you want to credit)
It *was* patented (the patent was sold for $1 to the University of Toronto)

Four scientists credited with discovering insulin: Frederick Banting, Charles Best, John Macleod, and James Collip.

Short version: there's debate on who deserves more credit, but the University of Toronto (where they discovered it) credits all 4https://t.co/67AoA4XZxl pic.twitter.com/3sbI0C2YXq

Macleod and Banting both died before Joe Biden was born.
So, if you were to just partially believe Biden's story, then he's saying he talked to Macleod or Banting
The problem?

We lost track of how many times Joe Biden lied during his short stop in Hollandale Beach on Tuesday.
