UPDATE — We have heard from two sources today in Wisconsin on the legislature’s move to pass the “early cheating” legislation.
The Gateway Pundit reported ten days ago that Speaker Vos and was pushing legislation that gives a head start to the election cheating. The legislation will allow election workers to start counting absentee ballots on the Monday before the election. There is no reason why this legislation needs to be passed. But it does make it easier for cheating.
The bill, allows ballot envelopes to be opened on Monday before the election and tabulation of the ballots on Tuesday giving a head start for cheating!
Speaker Vos reportedly added to legislation instead of allowing it to pass through committee.
On Monday we heard from two different trusted sources in Wisconsin.
SB214, the “Monday bill” to allow clerks to count absentee and mail-in ballots BEFORE election day was discussed by the caucus. The caucus said NO to SB214. Vos was visually upset by that but reluctantly agreed to not have it on the 2/24 Assembly session calendar/agenda.
SB946 is/was the whistleblower bill that was ‘used’ by Vos to bury SB214 into it as a substitute amendment. The language for SB946 was still included and the bill was ‘sold’ to the Assembly body as the whistleblower bill, but it was much more than that. Two things to know and to be very upset about regarding Speaker Vos and the Assembly body process:
Vos pushed the SB214 language, so much so he deceived the caucus after they said NO. Why? Then, after being modified by the sub-amendment of SB214, which was rejected by the majority caucus earlier, the Assembly majority voted to pass SB946 as amended? Why? Did they not read the bill or understand the bill? Maybe they were in a hurry to go from a long day and didn’t care? This is the sort of crap that goes on within the Legislature and the collateral damage falls upon the people.
GOP reps Allen, Wichgers, and Brandtjen voted NO on SB946. All other GOP members should be asked about their YES vote…
Watch for SB946 to be messaged over & passed by concurrence in the Senate on 3/8. It doesn’t have to be listed on the Senate calendar this way and can be snuck in.
The Senate GOP will be played just like the Assembly GOP. The Senate needs to say NO to SB946!
