Roughly 400,000 illegal immigrants who are under Temporary Protected Status will not be eligible to apply for permanent residency.
The Supreme Court unanimously decided Monday that those with TPS would be unable to get green cards, as it conflicts with the current format of the program, The Associated Press reported. . .
“A TPS recipient who entered the United States unlawfully is not eligible under §1255 for LPR status merely by dint of his TPS. Section 1255 provides that eligibility for LPR status generally requires an ‘admission’ into the country — defined to mean ‘the lawful entry of the alien into the United States after inspection and authorization by an immigration officer.’ §1101(a)(13)(A). Sanchez did not enter lawfully,” the case’s syllabus explained.

Great news! Time to deport all the illegal aliens permanently! Why do we allow criminals to come to the USA? We have a valid system where they prove their identity, prove they have NO criminal past, prove they can support themselves without any US welfare (or have a sponsor US Citizen who agrees to pay for their support), prove they know English well, prove they know American History well, agree that if they ever commit any crime they will lose their status and be immediately deported! Do it the EASY and LEGAL way! Don’t sneak in or overstay a VISA! We love our Legal, Law Abiding Immigrants but we do not want ANY illegals to come here and no one to come here on welfare! How hard is this??? And yes, if any non-citizen registers to vote in USA they need to be immediately deported. If any non-citizen votes in any US election they need to serve 15 years in prison and be deported! Keep it honest, please.

Question, Why do they not just turn them over to the Mexican Authorities rather than place them in pens? After all they illegally entered Mexico. Maybe that would give Mexico the incentive to protect their Southern Border. Another way would be to hold Employers accountable for hiring Illegal aliens, maybe hefty fines, possible loss of interstate and federal contracts.
